Quezon City, Philippines drone operator founded 2009 by Matthew Cua; builds its own UAVs for aerial mapping, agriculture, and disaster response work.
Skyeye UAV Services, operating as SkyEye Analytics, Inc., is a Philippines-based drone services company founded in August 2009 by Matthew Cua, beginning as a university research project before formalizing into a company after supporting military relief operations during Typhoon Yolanda. The company is headquartered in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
SkyEye builds and operates its own unmanned aerial vehicles, designed for local environmental and cost conditions rather than relying on imported platforms, and uses them for aerial surveying, GIS mapping, precision agriculture, disaster response mapping, and land and forest monitoring. Its services include 3D terrain modeling, post-flight image processing, and geo-hazard overlay analysis, delivered in part through a decision-support application called VEDA. The company operates more than a dozen Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines-licensed drone operators and multiple licensed aircraft, and by 2016 had logged more than 5,000 flight hours across over 100 projects nationwide.
SkyEye has worked with local and international NGOs, including the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, on disaster response mapping, and has supported government and law enforcement agencies with aerial data collection.
