Sigpack Systems AG no longer exists as an independent company. The Beringen, Switzerland operation that carried the Sigpack name is today run as Syntegon Packaging Systems AG and Syntegon Technology Services AG, a food and pharma site within the Syntegon group. Syntegon is the former Bosch Packaging Technology, carved out of the Bosch Group and renamed in 2020; the group is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, is majority owned by CVC Capital Partners, with Apollo holding a minority stake.
The group builds packaging and process machinery for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and food industries. Food-side lines, the segment historically associated with Beringen, include horizontal and vertical form-fill-seal machines, cartoning and case packing equipment, robotic packaging cells, confectionery processing machines, and the neXt automation platform. For pharma Syntegon supplies vial, ampoule, and cartridge filling machines, the SynTiso robotic aseptic filling system, lyophilizers, isolator and barrier systems, GKF capsule fillers, tablet presses and coaters, and visual inspection machines.
Syntegon reports 1.75 billion euros in sales for fiscal 2025, about 76,000 installed systems supported by its service business, and 49 locations in more than 20 countries. Its lineage runs back to Geiger and Hesser, founded in 1861, folded into the Bosch packaging business in 1977.
