SHAC USA is the North American sales and distribution arm of SHAC, a precision linear motion manufacturer whose first production line (screw machining) launched in 2007 and whose Taiwan entity (Dinghan Taiwan) was incorporated in 2011 under founder Tony Choo. The US branch was registered in 2025 and is based at 2501 Chatham Rd, Springfield, Illinois.
The parent group operates three factory sites totalling over 85,000 square metres of production floor space and runs five dedicated product lines: linear guideway rail, linear block, rolled ball screw, ground ball screw, and ball nut. A second factory site (45,000 m²) was built in 2020 with a 5-million-Euro investment for grinding and rolling ball screw and nut production; a third factory (40,000 m²) for large heavy-duty ball screws was added in 2023.
The product portfolio covers profile rail linear guideways, miniature guideways, rolled and ground ball screws (including heavy-duty large-diameter variants), KK linear axis modules, linear bushing shafts, and ball screw support units. Products serve LCD panel manufacturing, photovoltaic equipment, semiconductor handling, electronics assembly, and general CNC machine-tool sectors. SHAC holds 139 patents including 44 invention patents and 95 utility model patents, and carries ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE, SGS, and RoHS certifications. Products are marketed in over 50 countries with partners in more than 130 countries. SHAC USA offers OEM/ODM design and engineering services, FEA-backed component validation, and catalog/3D model downloads for customer integration.
