Saginaw Control & Engineering (SCE) is a family-owned American manufacturer of electrical enclosures and precision sheet metal fabrications, founded in 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan. The company produces standard stock and custom-designed enclosures used to house and protect electrical controls, automation equipment and electronics in industrial environments. Product lines include steel enclosures, stainless steel enclosures, non-metallic and fiberglass enclosures, thermal management products, and a wide range of accessories.
SCE manufactures enclosures meeting NEMA Type 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings, and its products are certified Made in USA under Buy America requirements. Manufacturing is performed at two facilities in Saginaw, Michigan, using automated forming, fiber-optic laser cutting and welding, and pour-in-place gasket technology. Recent product additions include the OK Series flat-packed modular enclosure platform and OK Series disconnect doors, solar shields for reducing outdoor heat load, battery stationary shelves, vortex compressed-air cooling, exterior print pockets, and the SCE-KLB keylock box for lockout/tagout procedures.
The company supports customers with engineering resources such as a thermal calculator, CAD drawings, bill-of-materials tools, installation manuals and an online enclosure builder. SCE operates distribution centers in Aurora, Ohio; Kenosha, Wisconsin; Lenoir City, Tennessee; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Reno/Sparks, Nevada; and Saginaw, Michigan, to serve customers across the United States. Its enclosures are widely specified by control panel builders, system integrators and OEMs across manufacturing, energy, food and beverage, and solar applications.
