RS Americas, Inc. distributes industrial and electronic components across the Americas and is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. It is the Americas division of London-listed RS Group plc (LSE: RS1) and operated as Allied Electronics & Automation before rebranding to RS on February 6, 2023.
The company stocks connectors, sensors, power supplies, motors, drives, controls, cabling, circuit breakers, pneumatic components and test-and-measurement equipment, drawing on more than 230,000 SKUs in the Americas region from over 650 suppliers, including Omron, Siemens, SICK, Moxa, nVent Hoffman and Lovato Electric. Its own RS PRO brand adds more than 80,000 industrial-grade electrical and electronic products across roughly 1,500 technologies. RS Americas holds AS9120B and ISO 9001:2015 certification and is GSA-approved for government supply contracts.
Orders ship from a 520,000-square-foot Fort Worth distribution center that uses automated storage-and-retrieval systems and robotic packing stations supplied by KNAPP; the facility was expanded by 200,000 square feet in December 2020 to hold up to 800,000 SKUs. RS Group as a whole reported revenue of $3.3 billion in fiscal 2022, operates in 32 countries, ships more than 60,000 parcels daily, and serves over 1.2 million industrial customers worldwide.
