Beijing Roborock Technology Co., Ltd. (Roborock) is a Chinese consumer robotics company founded in July 2014 that designs, develops, and manufactures intelligent home cleaning robots. Its core products are autonomous robot vacuum cleaners and mops, complemented by cordless stick vacuums, wet-dry vacuums, and robotic lawn mowers. Roborock robots integrate proprietary navigation and autonomy technologies including PreciSense LiDAR navigation, ReactiveAI obstacle avoidance, and the StarSight Autonomous System using 3D ToF sensing for mapping, localization, and obstacle recognition, along with HyperForce high-suction motors and VibraRise mopping systems. Flagship lines include the Saros series (such as the Saros Z70 featuring an OmniGrip foldable 5-axis mechanical arm and the Saros 20 with an AdaptiLift climbing chassis), the Qrevo series, and the S and Q series.
The company became a member of the Xiaomi ecosystem after receiving Xiaomi investment in 2014 and went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market in 2020, raising roughly 640 million USD. Headquartered in Beijing, Roborock operates R&D and branch offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen and a global team based in Hong Kong, with a technical team drawn from companies including Microsoft, Huawei, Intel, ARM, and Nokia. Its products are sold worldwide through direct stores and major retail channels.
