Plainview, NY robot integrator launched in 2026 by Unitree distributor RoboStore; the group cites 1,500+ robots delivered and a 66,000 sq ft plant plan.
Robo Inc. is a robotics deployment, integration and planned manufacturing company headquartered at 30 Skyline Drive in Plainview, on Long Island, New York. It was launched publicly on 10 August 2026 by RoboStore, the Plainview-based distributor that has been the primary US distributor of Unitree Robotics' humanoid and quadruped robots, after roughly a year of work in stealth. Teddy Haggerty is founder and chief executive of both companies. RoboStore continues to serve its installed base with inventory, parts, repairs and upgrades, while Robo Inc. is positioned as the umbrella for the wider business, which also includes the RoboUniversity training curriculum and the Roboverse developer community of more than 4,000 members.
Robo Inc. describes itself as a hardware-agnostic integrator with a global-to-local operating model: it sources components and platforms through global supply chains and adds US-based engineering, software, integration, assembly, testing, service and support. It plans a 66,000 sq ft production facility on Long Island that is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2027. Press coverage linked the move to tightening US controls on foreign-made robotics and to customer demand for application-specific machines, such as robotic arms and task-specific systems, rather than general-purpose humanoids.
The company presents four application lines. Guardian targets hospitals with observation, materials movement and staff support, including secure workflow integration, remote observation and hospital-specific payload configurations. Cadet + Pace is an education package combining hardware, curriculum, credentials and continuing access. Forge addresses security with patrol, inspection, evidence capture and escalation to humans. ARX serves hospitality venues with concierge, wayfinding and guest assistance. The company notes that the renderings and configurations shown for these lines are concepts. A control and data layer called RoboLink, covering fleet operations, customer system integration, APIs, security controls, monitoring and software updates, is under development. Robots can be supplied under a monthly Robotics-as-a-Service model structured in four stages, from matching an application to scaling across sites through certified integrators.
Track-record figures cited by the company come largely from the RoboStore distribution business: more than 1,500 humanoid and quadruped robots delivered, over 150 universities and research institutions served, and about 4,500 North American customers. Customers named in coverage of the launch include Harvard, MIT, Amazon and NVIDIA. Through RoboStore the group sells Unitree G1 humanoids in several EDU configurations, Unitree quadrupeds such as the B2 for industrial inspection, robotic arms, dexterous hands and accessories. No funding has been disclosed.
