Neros Technologies is an American drone manufacturer headquartered in El Segundo, California, with additional offices in Washington, D.C., Kyiv, Ukraine, and London. The company designs and builds first-person-view (FPV) tactical drones in-house, including flight controllers, motor drivers, and radio links, positioning its supply chain as based in the United States rather than dependent on imported components.
Its main product, the Archer FPV drone, carries modular payloads, reaches speeds of 160 km/h (99 mph), and holds a listing on the Department of Defense's Blue UAS approved-drone roster. Archer Strike is a kinetic variant of the same airframe built for direct-strike missions, and the Crossbow ground control station supports both drones in electronic-warfare-contested environments. The U.S. Army selected Archer for its Purpose-Built Attritable Systems program, the U.S. Marine Corps has contracted for Archer Strike units, and Neros has a contract to supply 6,000 drones to Ukraine.
Neros's most recent funding round was a 250 million dollar Series C at a 2.5 billion dollar valuation. Earlier rounds included a 75 million dollar Series B led by Sequoia Capital, a 35 million dollar Series A, and an initial round of about 10.9 million dollars.
