Neros Technologies is a vertically integrated American defense drone manufacturer headquartered in El Segundo, California, founded in 2023 by former professional drone racers Soren Monroe-Anderson and Olaf Hichwa. Motivated by drone warfare lessons from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the company onshores the full production chain of tactical unmanned systems — from in-house motor drivers and custom flight computers to proprietary radio links with industry-leading jamming resistance. Its flagship product, the Archer FPV drone, is BlueUAS certified, carries modular payloads up to 2 kg, reaches 160 km/h, and operates at ranges beyond 20 km in contested electronic warfare environments.
A kinetic variant, Archer Strike, enables lethal effects at range. The CROSSBOW ground control station supports electronic warfare resistance for extended-range missions. Production at the Smoky Hollow campus reached approximately 2,000 drones per day by late 2025.
The U.S. Army selected Archer for its Purpose-Built Attritable Systems (PBAS) program. In 2025 Neros closed a $75M Series B led by Sequoia Capital and established a UK subsidiary with up to £10M investment to support British sovereign drone manufacturing. Total funding stands at $121M across three rounds.
