Neobotix GmbH is a German manufacturer of mobile robot platforms and mobile manipulators for research institutions and industrial customers, founded on 29 October 2010 and headquartered at Weipertstraße 8-10, 74076 Heilbronn (in the Innovationsfabrik Heilbronn). The company designs, develops, and manufactures a range of ground mobile robots distinguished by drive configuration: the MP series (differential drive, e.g. MP-400, MP-500, MP-700) for industrial material flow and intralogistics, and the MPO series (omnidirectional, e.g. MPO-500 with Mecanum wheels, MPO-700 with proprietary OmniDriveModules) for high-maneuverability research and industrial tasks. The MPO-700 can carry up to 250 kg and navigate omnidirectionally at up to 0.8 m/s; the MP-500 carries up to 150 kg at up to 1.5 m/s.
Mobile manipulators (MMO-500, MMO-700) combine these bases with collaborative robot arms (e.g., from Universal Robots) to enable manipulation in dynamic environments. Software is provided through PlatformPilot, Neobotix's proprietary navigation and localization stack for converting mobile platforms into autonomous AMRs, as well as full ROS 2 support available across all platforms since 2022. In 2025–2026 Neobotix participates in the BMBF-funded IntelliVoiceAnalytic project with Chemnitz University of Technology, developing AI-based predictive error prevention for AMRs.
