NAVER LABS Corp. is the technology research subsidiary of Naver Corporation, South Korea's largest internet services company, based in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The organization researches robotics, physical AI, spatial intelligence, digital twins and augmented and virtual reality to build the technology behind Naver's future services.
The company's robotics work includes AMBIDEX, a cable-driven dual-arm robot designed for safe, high-speed interaction with people, and service robots such as AROUND, an indoor delivery robot, and ROOKIE, deployed inside Naver's own 1784 office building in Seongnam. Its ARC platform connects robots to cloud and 5G infrastructure for navigation and multi-robot coordination, and its newer FLOW system lets operators author robot services without writing code. NAVER LABS has also built a digital-twin platform; in 2026 the platform was adopted as a standard for a project in Saudi Arabia, and the company has pursued building and infrastructure projects such as Tokyo Midtown Yaesu in Japan.
NAVER LABS operates a sister research organization, NAVER LABS Europe, based in Grenoble, France, focused on computer vision and natural language processing; parent company Naver Corporation is a publicly traded South Korean internet and technology group.
