Nauticus Robotics, Inc. (Nasdaq: KITT) is a Webster, Texas-based company founded in 2014 by Nicolaus Radford. The company designs and commercializes autonomous subsea robotic systems and AI-driven autonomy software for ocean industries including offshore energy, defense, and marine infrastructure. Its flagship product, Aquanaut, is an untethered autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) certified to 3,000 meters depth that can perform subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks without a support vessel, either fully autonomously or via remote supervision.
The ToolKITT software platform serves as the intelligence layer for Nauticus and third-party ROV fleets—enabling mission planning, supervised autonomy, sensor fusion, and connectivity. ToolKITT is platform-agnostic and has been deployed on both Nauticus ROVs and legacy third-party vehicles such as the Comanche ROV from Forum Energy Technologies. In March 2025, Nauticus completed the acquisition of SeaTrepid International LLC for approximately $14.4 million, adding an established ROV services fleet and field operations capability.
The company also offers the Olympic Arm, an all-electric manipulator for work-class ROVs. Nauticus delivers services through a Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model as well as direct hardware and software license sales. In 2025, the company formed a partnership with Master Investment Group in the UAE, including an initial $3 million investment with potential to scale to $50 million, and is establishing a regional hub in Ras Al Khaimah targeting the Gulf Cooperation Council market.
Full-year 2025 revenue was $5.3 million.
