Key milestones include ISO 9001 certification (1996), ISO 14001 certification (2000), ISO 18001 certification (2006), launch of MiniTec Berlin GmbH (2018), and acquisition of Schulz Fördertechnik GmbH in 2024. In 2021 MiniTec was recognized as a Hidden Champion in a regional SME study, and in 2023 received the Ergonomics Innovation Prize. Founder Bernhard Bauer received the Federal Cross of Merit in 2024.
MiniTec collaborates with DFKI and Fraunhofer Institute on Industry 4.0 and ergonomics research. Its solutions are deployed by industrial manufacturers globally across sectors including automotive, food, pharmaceuticals, battery production, and electronics assembly.
