"Heal The World"
Shenzhen maker of biomimetic companion robots, founded 2021; its AnAn AI panda for elderly care was a CES 2026 Innovation Awards honoree.
Mind with Heart Robotics is a Shenzhen company that builds biomimetic companion robots for emotional support, elderly care and children's therapy. Its legal name in China is Shenzhen Wuxin Technology Co., Ltd.; the English brand plays on the Chinese name, which reads as "no core". The company was established in February 2021 and is based in the Qianhai Excellence Financial Center in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone.
The best-known product is AnAn, a panda-shaped companion robot developed with Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University through a joint laboratory on embodied emotional intelligence set up in June 2025. AnAn has bionic fur and full-body tactile sensing: it detects strokes on different parts of its body and answers with movements and sounds suited to the context. It adds proactive conversation, reminders and a long-term memory that records a user's habits and important life events, and an app lets owners set the panda's name, voice and personality. The company aims it at people with dementia, depression and autism as well as lonely older adults, and offers a business version with dashboards that track behavioural trends and interaction patterns for care providers. AnAn was a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Artificial Intelligence category, and the company reports early clinical trials for dementia patients with several Australian hospitals.
Two humanoid-form products use silicone skin and facial expression control. The biomimetic child-shape robot targets rehabilitation and companionship for children with autism and other special-needs groups, with expression control, a cognitive and social training module, automatically generated training reports and remote adjustment of programmes by therapists. Alizee is an adult female-form companion robot with touch sensors across more than 80 percent of its silicone skin, micro-expressions such as blinking and frowning, generative AI conversation and long-term memory, with app and VR connectivity added in late 2024. The company also announced a Duncan Series of companion robots for neurodivergent and typically developing children.
Founder and chief executive Dr. Jiaming Zhang holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Sheffield and previously led autism-rehabilitation and panda robot projects at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen); co-founder and COO Chuck Chan previously worked at Sunwoda Electronic and Mindray. The company reports more than 30 patent filings with 18 granted. Its own site states that it raised angel funding in 2023 and a Pre-A round in 2025, each in the tens of millions of yuan, and that a Series A is open.
The United States is described as the primary market. In September 2026 the company launched AnAn in Europe at IFA Berlin with an overseas retail price of USD 1,000 to 1,500, after completing a first production run of 100 units, signing distributors in Germany and Belgium and opening a European repair and after-sales centre in Belgium.
