Directly relevant to robotics, Mid-Mountain manufactures THERMOPAK Robot Covers and Robot Protective Systems—custom protective covers engineered to shield industrial robots from heat, dust, chemicals, moisture and abrasion in harsh environments such as steel mills, aluminum smelters, foundries, refineries and petrochemical plants. Built from its ARMATEX SBF 13-602 coated fabric, these covers offer high tensile and tear strength after thermal exposure, high flexural-failure resistance, chemical and thermal stability, and UV and ozone resistance, and are produced for major robot brands including FANUC, ABB, Kawasaki and KUKA, extending robot operational life and uptime.
