Marubeni Aerospace Corporation is the aerospace and defense trading subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, one of Japan's largest sogo shosha (general trading houses), which holds 100 percent ownership. Marubeni Aerospace was established on January 29, 1993, is headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and reports registered capital of JPY 749.5 million, about 115 employees, and President and CEO Satoru Nakagawa.

The company trades aerospace and defense products across several lines: business jets and helicopters, aircraft engines, avionics, space equipment, defense systems, and advanced materials. It is the Japanese sales channel for Gulfstream jets and works with affiliates JAL Business Jet and BJ-JAMS on charter services. In air mobility, it signed a conditional pre-order for up to 200 Vertical Aerospace VX4 eVTOL aircraft in 2021 and flew crewed demonstrations of LIFT Aircraft's HEXA eVTOL in Japan in 2025. On July 22, 2026, Archer Aviation named Marubeni Aerospace one of the first launch partners for its Halo autonomous VTOL platform, built with Anduril, exploring cargo and search-and-rescue use cases in Japan.

Marubeni Aerospace's customers span commercial aviation operators, government agencies, and space-sector organizations in Japan, drawing on parent Marubeni Corporation's trading and financing infrastructure to connect overseas manufacturers with Japanese buyers.
