Hangzhou Lanxin Robotics Co., Ltd. (Lanxin Robotics) is a Hangzhou-based maker of 3D-vision mobile robots, 3D cameras and wheeled humanoid robots. The company was founded in 2016 and positions itself as a 3D-vision mobile robot company that uses its own 3D perception to drive mobile robots. It operates sub-brands VMR (industrial mobile robots) and MRDVS (3D vision), and later established an MRS subsidiary. Headquarters are in the China Artificial Intelligence Town in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, with production bases in Huzhou and Gui'an (Guizhou), branches in Dongguan and Suzhou, and Lanxin Robotics Japan Co., Ltd. in Nagoya.
Its industrial AMR range includes latent (jacking) transport robots, transfer robots, autonomous forklifts including counterbalanced and stacking models, cage-handling robots, mobile-robot controllers and fleet software; the VMR-FR3620L, for example, carries 600 kg. It also offers the FR1300G omnidirectional mobile chassis and dedicated machines for 3C electronics, lithium-battery and packaging lines. The MRDVS 3D-camera family comprises S-series obstacle-avoidance cameras, M-series docking cameras, V-series navigation cameras and an H series; the S10 and S10 Pro dToF cameras extend mobile robots from indoor to outdoor use, and the company supplies 3D cameras to Pudu Robotics for cleaning robots. In humanoids, Lanxin lists the VB1, VB1-I and VB2 wheeled humanoid robots together with a humanoid chassis and head module.
The company says Huawei and BYD deploy its solutions at scale, with thousands of units, and shows customer logos including LG, Sharp, Mitsubishi, Jabil, Lenovo, YKK, Toyota and CATL. It became a Tier-1 supplier to Huawei in 2019, when annual orders exceeded RMB 15 million, and to BYD during 2020-2022, when annual orders passed RMB 100 million. Main application areas are 3C electronics, new energy (lithium batteries) and packaging and printing.
Lanxin holds about 150 national patents and 200 intellectual property items, R&D staff make up 45% of the team, and it holds ISO 9001 certification. Recognitions include national specialized-and-innovative 'Little Giant' enterprise, National High-tech Enterprise, Hangzhou quasi-unicorn, Zhejiang first-of-its-kind equipment recognition and a Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award (second prize). It has also taken part in drafting national standards.
