Koenig & Bauer AG is a German manufacturer of printing presses and industrial machinery, founded in 1817 by Friedrich Koenig and Andreas Bauer in Oberzell near Wuerzburg, making it the oldest printing press manufacturer in the world. The company has been headquartered in Wuerzburg, Bavaria since its founding, with the current site in use since 1901. Koenig & Bauer designs and builds printing and converting systems organized by technology, application and substrate, including sheetfed offset printing, web offset printing, CI flexo printing, digital sheetfed and digital web printing, die-cutting, folder gluing, flexo post-printing and authentication solutions.

Industrial automation, measurement and control technology, and robotics-assisted material handling and logistics systems such as its Patras substrate transport system support its printing lines.
The company is led by an Executive Board chaired by Dr Stephen Kimmich, with Dr Alexander Blum. Koenig & Bauer is listed on the stock exchange and registered at the municipal court of Wuerzburg under HRB 109.
