KEBA Industrial Automation GmbH is the industrial automation division of KEBA Group AG, headquartered in Linz, Austria, where the group was founded in 1968 by Gunther Krippner. In December 2021, KEBA acquired drag and bot GmbH, a Stuttgart-based software company that develops an innovative operating system for robots, which became a 100% subsidiary of KEBA Industrial Automation GmbH. This acquisition strengthened KEBA's robot programming and ease-of-use capabilities. In 2024, KEBA announced a technical partnership with RoboDK, a leading robot simulation and offline programming platform, integrating KeMotion into RoboDK's software suite.
Key target industries include plastics machinery, packaging, woodworking, machine building, and robotics system integrators. KEBA's automation products comply with international safety standards and serve customers across Europe, Asia, and North America.
