Its core product lines are the MAC series integrated AC servo motors (ranging from 50 W up to 4.5 kW, including built-in Ethernet variants) and the MIS series integrated stepper motors, marketed as ServoStep closed-loop motors in NEMA17, NEMA23 and NEMA34 frame sizes covering 0.4 to 25 Nm. A defining feature is JVL's modular expansion-module concept, which lets users adapt a single motor to virtually any industrial fieldbus, supporting Industrial Ethernet protocols (EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP), CANopen, IO-Link, Modbus RTU, DMX512 and J1939. The motors are used in automation, packaging, robotics and motion-control applications worldwide. JVL is ISO 9001:2015 certified and offers a TUV-approved STO (Safe Torque Off) safety feature on selected models. The company sells globally through subsidiaries including JVL USA, JVL Germany, JVL UK and JVL Turkey, plus an international distributor network, and provides engineering tools such as its MotorSizer sizing calculator and Product Part Number Builder. JVL is a Rockwell Automation Encompass partner.
