Shenzhen Jingfeng Medical Technology Co., Ltd., operating under the brand Edge Medical, is a Shenzhen-based surgical robotics company founded on 4 May 2017 by Wang Jianchen and Gao Yuanqian, headquartered at Room 01, 19th Floor, Block 2B Zhihui Jiayuan Phase II, No. 76 Baohe Avenue, Longgang District, Shenzhen. The company is China's first to receive NMPA registration approval for a Multi-Port Endoscopic Surgical Robot, Single-Port Endoscopic Surgical Robot, and Natural Orifice Surgical Robot — forming the world's first 'Three-in-One' minimally invasive surgical robotics platform. The flagship MP1000 multi-port robot received initial NMPA approval in August 2023 for laparoscopic surgeries across urology, gynecology, general surgery, and thoracic surgery; the upgraded MP2000 launched in August 2024.
The SP1000 single-port robot received NMPA approval in November 2023 for gynecological procedures, with subsequent multi-specialty approvals in October 2024 and full four-specialty coverage in March 2026. The CP1000 bronchoscopic robot received NMPA approval in January 2025. By June 2026, Edge Medical robots had surpassed 20,000 global clinical procedures.
The company also launched the EdgeCloud Telesurgery System in 2024, completing a landmark transcontinental telesurgery spanning Rome, Bordeaux, and Beijing. Edge Medical listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX: 02675) in January 2026, holding a valuation exceeding USD 1.5 billion. The company has raised USD 307M+ from HongShan (Sequoia China), Temasek, OrbiMed, 3H Health, LYFE Capital, Boyu Capital, and the China State-Owned Enterprise Mixed Ownership Reform Fund.
