InPost S.A. is a logistics company headquartered in Krakow, Poland, and incorporated in Luxembourg as a public limited company. Rafal Brzoska, who began a courier business in Poland in 1999, established the InPost brand in 2006, and the company introduced automated parcel lockers, known as Automated Parcel Machines (APMs), in 2009.
Each APM is a self-service machine that lets consumers send and collect parcels without a courier, using mobile-app or code-based access tied to InPost's logistics software for authenticated deposit, storage, and retrieval. The network has grown past 62,000 active APMs plus roughly 33,000 pickup and drop-off points across nine European countries, including Poland, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, and the Benelux countries. Beyond locker collection, InPost provides to-door courier delivery and e-commerce fulfilment services, and extended its footprint in 2021 by acquiring French delivery network Mondial Relay.
InPost delivered 1.36 billion parcels in 2025, up 25 percent year over year, with its APM count growing about 30 percent over the period. The company is listed on Euronext Amsterdam (INPST); in February 2026 a consortium led by FedEx and Advent, with A&R and PPF, agreed to acquire InPost for about 7.8 billion euros in cash, and by mid-2026 the consortium had secured roughly 90 percent of outstanding shares.
