Beyond connectivity components, Hilscher offers the netFIELD Industrial IoT platform and netFIELD Edge gateways, which act as secure data routers between operational technology and IT layers, using containerized software and a cyber-secure Linux OS meeting IEC 62443 requirements. With more than 20 million netX network nodes deployed worldwide and a global footprint of subsidiaries, Hilscher is a long-established supplier of industrial communication building blocks for automation, machine builders and OEMs.
