Company Overview

GridRaster Inc. is a US deep-tech company founded in 2014 and headquartered in Mountain View, California, with an engineering office in Bengaluru, India. It develops spatial intelligence and extended reality (XR) technology that fuses AI with augmented, virtual and mixed reality for industrial and defense applications.

Its flagship offering, the SPIDER platform (SPatial Intelligence & Dynamic Extended Reality), is a cloud-capable, multimodal AI system that ingests images, video, 3D models, point clouds and technical documents to deliver real-time spatial awareness, 2D/3D segmentation and object detection, markerless spatial localization and tracking, holographic overlays, and digital twin generation. GridRaster uses this to enable three core use cases: rapid digital twin creation from commercial scanning equipment, AR-guided inspection and maintenance that detects misrouted or improper installations, and AI-driven automation and robotics with precise 3D mapping, markerless object localization and robotic path planning. The platform supports Apple Vision Pro, iOS, Microsoft HoloLens and Android XR, is designed to be cybersecure and DevSecOps-compliant, and can be deployed on premises or on secure government and private clouds. GridRaster works with aerospace and defense, aviation, general manufacturing, energy, and oil and gas customers, and counts the US Air Force, US Army, US Space Force, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NVIDIA and the ARM Institute among partners and customers. It has won the 2025 US Army xTechSearch 9 Award, a 2024 Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Award, an Air Force STRATFI award, and an ARM Champion Award.
