Gibotech A/S is a Danish automation integrator headquartered at Datavej 15 in Odense, Denmark. The company was established in 1984 as Giben Scandinavia A/S, moved into robotics and automation work in 1998, and adopted the Gibotech name in 2009 under continuous management, according to chief executive Henrik Danevig-Anker.
Gibotech designs, builds, and services automation cells that combine industrial robots, CNC machines, and custom mechanical handling for manufacturing clients such as Dolle and Skovby Mobelfabrik, working with robot brands including Fanuc and Omron. In hospital settings, the company installed its first automated central sterilization system in 2010 and has since added automated kitchen logistics, laboratory handling, and bed logistics systems under its GiboSmartSolutions line, deployed at Danish hospitals including Godstrup Regional Hospital, Aalborg University Hospital, and the new Odense University Hospital, as well as at University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein in Lubeck, Germany.
The company grew from 23 full-time employees in 2013 to more than 115 by 2021, when it received ISO 9001 certification, and continues to design, install, and maintain automation systems for both healthcare and industrial customers from its Odense site.
