General Intuition is a frontier AI research lab building a new class of foundation models that can perceive, predict and act in both virtual and physical environments. Spun out of Medal, the gaming-clip platform, the company trains models on unique, action-labeled video datasets spanning countless environments. Medal's players upload billions of gameplay clips each year, giving General Intuition a large and diverse corpus of action-rich data argued to surpass alternatives such as Twitch or YouTube for teaching agents how objects and entities move through space and time, a capability the company calls spatial-temporal reasoning. The lab develops two complementary model classes: action models that decide what actions to take, and world models that predict the outcomes of actions, allowing agents to rehearse behavior in compressed simulacra of reality before acting in the real world. General Intuition frames its mission as moving machine intelligence from words to worlds, giving agents a general intuition of reality that language-trained models lack.
