Geespace (Zhejiang Geespace Technology Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese satellite communication service provider backed by the Geely group, focused on building and operating GEESATCOM, a low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite IoT constellation. Using full-stack in-house design, development and deployment, Geespace completed Phase I of its constellation through six consecutive launches between 2022 and 2025, reaching 64 satellites in orbit with reported 100% in-orbit and network reliability and global coverage excluding the polar regions. The system provides one to two layers of real-time coverage within the +/-60-degree latitude band, supports up to 20 million users and around 340 million communication sessions per day, and uses in-house adaptive anti-jamming algorithms with over 50 dB of interference resistance.
Its product line spans the GSP2022 satellite communication chip, GM1001-F and automotive-grade GM1003 communication modules, GA120C and GA080L antennas, and a range of terminals (DTU, solar, compact, pad and handset). The robotics and autonomy relevance lies in Geespace's solutions for intelligent connected vehicles, Robotaxi and low-altitude mobility (AAM), where its satellite connectivity provides positioning and beyond-terrestrial communication for autonomous platforms. Additional industry solutions cover marine fisheries, construction machinery, logistics and transportation, energy, emergency communications, smart forestry, smart water conservancy and smart agriculture. Geespace has signed international partnerships in Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan and Algeria to expand global constellation use.
