Company Overview

FUJI Corporation, known as Fuji Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. until 2018, is a Japanese manufacturer of surface-mount technology (SMT) placement equipment headquartered in Chiryu, Aichi Prefecture. Founded in 1959, the company is publicly listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market.

Its NXT and AIMEX platforms place electronic components for high-mix and high-volume production. The NXT III is a modular placement machine that handles parts from 0402 mm (01005 inch) chips up to large components, with placement accuracy of plus or minus 0.025 mm and head speeds up to 37,500 chips per hour per module; a single NXT IIIc module occupies about 0.46 square meters of floor space. The NXTR variant adds automatic feeder exchange to cut operator changeover work. Beyond placement machines, FUJI builds machine tools, atmospheric plasma treatment units, Hug transfer-assistance robots, Quist smart parts lockers, and R-PLUS waste-sorting robots, extending its automation lineup toward full-factory production systems for electronics manufacturers.

FUJI supports customers worldwide through subsidiaries including Fuji America Corporation, established in 1970, Fuji Europe Corporation GmbH in Kelsterbach, Germany, active since 1991, and Fuji Machine China, established in 2008.
