FLEX-LINE AUTOMATION, INC. is a U.S.-based, women-owned automation integrator and authorized FlexLink system builder headquartered in Chester, Illinois. The company was founded in 1984 by Orville Rinne, who recognized an opportunity to introduce SKF Sweden's FlexLink modular tabletop conveyor system to the North American market. Flex-Line became an authorized FlexLink System Builder in 1987—before FlexLink had established its own U.S. office—and has maintained that partnership ever since.
