Fehr Warehouse Solutions Inc. (Matter Corp.) is the North American operation of the Fehr Group, a Swiss-headquartered intralogistics and warehouse-automation specialist with more than 70 years of experience and over 500 systems installed worldwide. Fehr delivers end-to-end automated intralogistics for producers, distributors, and processors of bar and sheet stock, connecting production, warehouse, and IT into one integrated, vendor-independent, and modular system.
Core solutions include automated long-goods warehouses for rods, profiles, and tubes; flat-goods storage for sheets, plates, and panels; and robot-supported handling and automation that link storage with processing equipment for precise, repeatable operations and high availability. Its Fehr Honeycomb storage system and storage-and-retrieval machines maximize space utilization and enable fast, safe storage and retrieval with minimal labor. The company's software layer integrates warehouse-management (WMS), material-flow (KVS), and PLC control into a single platform for transparent material flows, and it offers turnkey project delivery, planning, and retrofit/modernization of existing systems regardless of original manufacturer. Fehr serves steel, wood, windows/doors/shutters, and special-solution applications, with reference customers including stürmsfs ag, Blumer Lehmann, Stappert, Aperam, and TW Metals. The group operates nine locations across Europe and North America with around 260 employees and completes over 60 projects per year, backed by 360-degree lifecycle support delivered onsite and remotely. The U.S. entity is led by President David Veldung.
