Fastec Imaging, founded in 2003 and originally based in San Diego, California, is a global supplier of digital high-speed imaging systems. The company designs and manufactures the TS, IL, HS, HSi, and HiSpec series of high-speed cameras, covering handheld point-and-shoot systems, compact PC-controlled cameras, and long-duration recording systems with onboard storage up to 2TB. Fastec cameras serve applications in manufacturing quality control, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, packaging, pulp and paper, energy, aviation, science, academic research, athletics, and commercial video production.
Customers include Unilever, Procter & Gamble, 3M, Nestle, Harvard, and MIT. In October 2022, Fastec Imaging was acquired by RDI Technologies, Inc., a Knoxville, Tennessee-based provider of vision-based vibration analysis. Fastec sells through a network of over 40 independent distributors in more than 30 countries.
