"When time is life"
Swedish operator of the world's first emergency-integrated autonomous drone service, delivering defibrillators and medical kits ahead of ambulances.
Everdrone AB is a Swedish autonomous-drone company headquartered in Gothenburg that develops and operates drone services for time-critical medical and public-safety interventions. Spun out in 2017 from the team behind the Sleep Cycle app, Everdrone built its technology around advances in autonomy, sensors and computer vision to make beyond-visual-line-of-sight drone flight reliable for real-world emergency use. The company operates the world's first drone service integrated into the emergency response chain for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, delivering automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and complete emergency medical kits to bystanders before an ambulance arrives, and providing real-time situational awareness to dispatchers and responders. Its Drone-as-First-Responder system has been operational in emergency healthcare since 2020 and currently covers a population of more than 250,000 people in Sweden's Västra Götaland Region, with adoption and procurement extending to Region Stockholm and the Normandy Region in France.
Everdrone's offering combines its E-series delivery drones, the GridPlanner predictive-analytics platform for gap analysis and grid optimization, and Medkit-plus-Liveview delivery for combined supplies and live video. Developed in close collaboration with healthcare providers and researchers including the Karolinska Institutet, the service is grounded in an evidence-based, clinically validated approach. Everdrone partners with emergency-medical-service providers, fire and rescue services and air-ambulance organizations across Europe to shorten response times and improve survival outcomes.
