Eshet Eilon Industries is an Israeli manufacturer of post-harvest sorting and packing equipment, established in 1935 and based at Kibbutz Eilon in the Western Galilee. The company designs automated lines that carry fruit and vegetables from field crates to packed cartons, covering receiving, dumping, hot water treatment, cleaning, waxing, drying, sorting, grading and packing.
Its equipment includes the UniCup singulation and conveying system, offered in cup sizes from the UniCup Mini (70 by 55 mm) up to the UniCup 335 and the 120 mm Speedy Cup, which carry individual pieces of produce through sizing and optical grading stations. The Speedy Roll unit performs high-precision fruit sizing, while ChickSort applies machine vision to sort day-old chicks by weight and condition for hatcheries. Eshet Eilon builds complete packhouse lines for more than twenty crops, including apples, avocados, citrus, mangoes, onions, peppers, pomegranates and tomatoes, and its research group works with Israel's Volcani Institute on sorting and grading methods.
The company's packhouse systems operate in more than 30 countries, with documented customers in the United States, Mexico, Kenya and the Philippines alongside its home market in Israel.
