Its flagship product, Actin SDK, provides real-time adaptive motion control and path planning for complex multi-axis robotic systems including industrial, medical, collaborative, space, and subsea robots. Energid's Selectin software complements Actin with sensor-driven autonomy capabilities.
The company has applied its technology to nuclear reactor inspection, seafloor oil exploration, and agricultural harvesting robots. Energid was acquired by Teradyne in 2018 and subsequently integrated into Universal Robots' software development team to advance UR's controller software stack with Actin's motion planning features.
