EMANOR
EMANOR, a Normandy electrical and automation firm, integrates Universal Robots cobots for gluing and palletizing, including its PE20 palletizing cell.
EMANOR is a French industrial electrical, mechanical and automation company based at Parc Eco-Normandie in Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc (Seine-Maritime), near Le Havre. It combines an engineering activity and a maintenance activity to deliver complete projects for industrial customers. EMANOR has been active in industrial process automation since 2019 and is led by Guillaume Langrene.
Services include machine compliance and risk reduction, industrial electrical cabinet manufacturing, PLC programming, solutions for musculoskeletal disorder (TMS) reduction, collaborative robots, operator training, fault diagnosis, installation of new equipment, equipment maintenance and connected Industry 4.0 solutions. Product sections cover robotics and cobotics, a robotic palletizing solution named PE20, industrial vision, lubrication systems and industrial equipment, and the company runs an online spare-parts store.
A published Universal Robots case study describes a cobotic gluing system EMANOR designed, customised, installed and trained operators on for window and door manufacturer SIMP Production in January 2022. A UR5e cobot applies glue in a pre-programmed pattern to four profiles locked in a wedge-style fixture, using SIMP's existing glue cartridges. According to the case study, output reached up to 110 frames per day, about 20% above manual production, post-assembly cleaning time fell by 50%, and gluing runs in hidden time during the 15 to 20 minute drying period.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Cobotic gluing workstation (SIMP Production)
- Model: UR5e-based
- Launch Year: 2022
UR5e cobot gluing cell for window frame profiles, up to 110 frames per day
