EA Mobile Robotics is the mobile-robot business area of Elektroautomatik i Sverige AB, a Swedish automation integrator founded in 1965 and headquartered at Karrlyckegatan 20B, 418 78 Goteborg, with further sites in Skovde, Kungsor and Sodertalje. Elektroautomatik states more than 200 employees across the group and describes itself as Sweden's largest automation integrator; the mobile-robots.com Mobile Robot Directory lists 115 employees against the robotics entry.
The unit traces its AGV work to 1986 and was previously Jernbro Automation, an AGV operation with office and production in Skovde and around 22 staff. Elektroautomatik agreed to acquire it in October 2021, and the business was renamed Elektroautomatik mobile robotics on 1 October 2021 under managing director Jonas Kjellberg.
The TC vehicle range spans platform, lifting and forklift types: TC90 (6,000 kg, up to 1.3 m/s, built-in lifting device), TC88 (3,000 kg open platform), TC82 (1,000 kg open platform, up to 1.5 m/s), TC72 (2,000 kg with lifting device), TC71 (2,000 kg automated forklift for pallets and pallet-sized containers, 3,000 mm maximum lift), TC70 (2,000 kg with lift, up to 1 m/s), TC56 (1,000 kg open platform), TC55 and TC50 (3,000 kg with lift) and TC40 (2,000 kg with lift). Several navigation methods are offered, and the company emphasises fast installation, open designs that customers can modify themselves, and onboard quality control. It also supplies control systems, fixturing and robotic loading and unloading cells for assembly and logistics.
Elektroautomatik's other business areas are EA Machine, EA Service, EA Consultant and EA Academy. It is an ABB Robotics service partner in Sweden.
