DUGUIT Technologies, a family firm in Epernay since 1957, makes Champagel neck-freezing equipment and Allians Robotics bottle-handling robot systems.
DUGUIT Technologies is a French family-owned equipment maker based in Epernay, in the Champagne region. Its origins go back to 1957, when Andre Schepens founded CHAMPAGEL in Epernay; the company produced its first linear freezing tank in 1958. Pierre Duguit bought the business in 1994, Timothee Duguit joined in 2004, and in 2011 the company adopted the DUGUIT Technologies name, bringing together the CHAMPAGEL and ALLIANS ROBOTICS brands. In 2012 Timothee Duguit and his two brothers bought the company.
CHAMPAGEL supplies neck-freezing tanks used for disgorging in traditional-method sparkling wine production. ALLIANS ROBOTICS is the group's robotics brand, providing robotic bottle-handling solutions; the company integrated its first FANUC robot in 1998. The GREEN ICE product was first sold in 2011, and an R&D department was created in 2014. In 2018 the Duguit family acquired 70% of BEDI, a company experienced in carton handling. Groupe DUGUIT also includes FEGE, alongside DUGUIT Technologies and BEDI.
In-house trades include boilermaking, plastics, machining, electrical work, assembly and industrial refrigeration. The company reports more than 2,000 machines installed in over 50 countries, with exports accounting for more than 40% of revenue.
