DS AUTOMOTION GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer of automated guided vehicles and driverless transport systems, founded in 1984 and based at Lunzerstrasse 60A, 4030 Linz (Austrian commercial register FN 230030 f, VAT ATU 56224534). The vehicle range is organised by task. AMADEUS (AMADEUS, Wide, Low, Grip, Counter, tugger, rack) and ARNY (Duplex, Triplex, HD Mono, HD Duplex) are automated forklifts with payloads of roughly 1,200 to 2,500 kg and lift heights up to 8,534 mm. OSCAR (Omni, Omni XL, Spin 180, Spin 360) are 1,000 to 1,250 kg under-ride and platform vehicles; LUCY is a 500 kg automated forklift with a 600 mm lift; AMY and AMY flap are compact transporters; SALLY and SALLY Courier are 50 to 100 kg light transporters; CAREY and CAREY Trike serve hospital automated transport systems; Roller Table Mono and Double are conveyor AGVs up to 2,500 kg. Assembly-line vehicles include CHASSISMOVER, FLEXIMOVER trike and FLEXIMOVER spin. RACKMOVER and AMADEUS rack address data-centre server handling.
Software comprises the NAVIOS fleet manager with NAVIOS Cockpit and the ARCOS on-vehicle control system, alongside energy management, navigation and safety technology. Vehicles carry CE marking under EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; ARNY and AMADEUS models are listed as VDA 5050 v1.1 compliant and ARNY as TUEV certified.
