DeLaval is a Swedish company with roots dating to 1883 when Gustaf de Laval pioneered the centrifugal milk separator. Headquartered in Tumba, Sweden, and part of the Tetra Laval Group, DeLaval was the first company to patent milking robots in 1982. Today it operates in more than 100 markets with over 4,500 employees and 18 factories worldwide.

Its flagship product, the VMS V300 Voluntary Milking System, features Flow-Responsive Milking and advanced biosensor milk cell analysis. DeLaval also offers rotary milking systems, feed management, manure handling, cow comfort solutions, and herd health monitoring technologies designed to improve animal welfare, milk quality, and farm productivity.
