Creform Corporation, headquartered in Greer, South Carolina, is the North American arm of Yazaki Kako Corporation of Fujioka, Japan. The parent company was founded in 1948 and developed the CREFORM modular pipe-and-joint system in 1953 as a flexible alternative to welded steel structures for factory material handling. In 1991, Yazaki Kako acquired Textube Corporation of Greer, S.C., rebranding it as Creform Corporation in 2004.
The Greer campus houses corporate offices, tube mills, plastic component manufacturing, a technical center, and sales operations. Creform's core product is a system of steel or aluminum tubes joined by plastic or metal joints, enabling rapid construction and reconfiguration of flow racks, workstations, carts, dollies, display boards, and AGV frames—without welding. The system comprises over 700 components.
Major automotive OEMs including Toyota, Ford, and Chrysler have adopted the system as part of lean and kaizen continuous-improvement programs. Creform also supplies components used in robot assembly fixtures and autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) body structures. The company serves manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics customers worldwide and employs 51–200 people globally, with related entities including CREFORM Technik GmbH in Germany (established 1999 as a joint venture).
