Bee Automation is a French industrial automation engineering company based at 20 rue du General Leclerc in Saverne, Alsace, active since 2012. Its engineers work on industrial programming for manufacturers in France, elsewhere in Europe and internationally, covering five areas: PLC automation, robotics, industrial vision, industrial IT, and revamping and retrofit of existing production equipment, with the stated aim of moving production tools towards Industry 4.0.
In robotics, the company programmes and integrates both conventional industrial robots and collaborative robots, for new installations as well as optimisation of existing cells. The robot brands it lists are FANUC, KUKA and Staubli. In machine vision it handles feasibility studies, development, supply and installation, from simple vision sensors to deep-learning algorithms, for quality control and part localisation. For automation and supervision it works with Siemens, Schneider Electric, Beckhoff, SEW and Unitronics controllers and drives, and with Siemens and PcVue supervision software; its industrial IT work includes SAP links, databases and traceability systems.
