Arvatec is an Italian precision agriculture company founded in January 2002 by a group of researchers from the Department of Agricultural Engineering at the University of Milan. Based in Rescaldina, in the Milan metropolitan area, Arvatec was one of the first companies to introduce precision agriculture technology to Italy, combining agricultural mechanics with electronics and informatics. The company serves as the exclusive Italian distributor for FarmDroid solar-powered seeding and weeding robots and Veris soil sensors for real-time soil analysis, and holds distribution rights for Slopehelper autonomous robots.
Arvatec also developed the MOONDINO robotic platform for agricultural applications. Its products help farmers reduce operational costs, minimize soil disturbance, and lower environmental pollution through sustainable, data-driven agricultural practices.
