Company Overview

AP&T North America, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of the Swedish AP&T Group (Automation, Press and Tooling), a global supplier of complete production solutions for the sheet metal and fiber forming industries. From its sales and service base in Monroe, North Carolina, and a regional sales office in Rochester Hills, Michigan, AP&T North America delivers and services AP&T's full portfolio of stamping and forming technology to manufacturers across the United States.

The company's offering covers complete press-hardening and forming lines, stand-alone press automation, servohydraulic presses, tooling and furnace systems. Central to its automation business are the SpeedFeeder press robots, modular linear feeder units used to load, transfer and unload parts between presses; AP&T builds approximately 300 such units a year and is a world leader in modular feeder automation. SpeedFeeder models span handled weights from 20 kg to 240 kg in 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-axis configurations, are fully standardized, and meet CE, UL and CSA industry standards. AP&T also supplies transfer systems, destackers, stackers and gantry systems for tandem and progressive lines, serving automotive, climate and energy applications such as press-hardened body structures, heat exchanger plates and air duct components. Backed by AP&T's global aftermarket services organization, the North American operation provides installation, upgrades, spare parts and technical support to maximize line availability and lifetime performance for metal forming producers.
