Curitiba-based Agres builds e-Steer and h-Steer tractor autopilots, GNSS/RTK antennas and ISOBUS spray controllers; part of Italy's TECOMEC group since 2019.
Agres Sistemas Eletrônicos S/A is a Brazilian precision agriculture electronics company founded in 2004 in Curitiba, Parana. It was set up to give a large soybean and cotton producer affordable, rugged precision farming equipment developed in Brazil, and it now sells to dealers, cooperatives, machinery manufacturers and farmers. In 2019 Agres joined the TECOMEC Group, a manufacturer of components and accessories for forestry, gardening, agriculture and industrial applications headquartered in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
The company's machine guidance products are built around two onboard computer families, agroNave and isoView, which act as virtual guidance displays, autopilot controllers and spray or fertilizer rate controllers. Agres offers three automatic steering options for tractors, combines and self-propelled machines: the electric e-Steer with a high-torque magnetic actuator, the h-Steer with a dedicated hydraulic block, and the ready kit for machines that leave the factory autosteer-ready. All three work with Agres ANR GNSS antennas and correction signals; quoted accuracy ranges from 30 cm (e-Steer) or 20 cm (hydraulic versions) down to 1 cm with RTK. The correction services are tiered: NAVE30 (about 30 cm pass-to-pass), NAVE20 and NAVE15 by subscription, NAVE PRO at about 2 cm, and NAVE RTK at about 1 cm using a base station and rover radio.
For application control Agres makes ECUs for fixed or variable-rate spraying and fertilizing, including the isoBox Sprayer (up to 18 ISOBUS sections), the isoView 31 Spray guidance and spraying kit (up to 9 sections), Strong Box modular section control, Spray Rate and Spray Rate Mini flow controllers and GNSS speed sensors. Suggested kits include the agroNave 7 guidance kit and the agroNave 12 e-Steer electric autopilot kit. Its isoFarm cloud platform manages tasks, machines and operators. Agres reports a quality management system with external audits and production traceability, and holds Great Place to Work certification.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
