Aformic Polska Sp. z o.o. is a Polish autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturer headquartered in Gliwice, Poland, and operating as a subsidiary of AIUT Sp. z o.o., one of Europe's largest system integrators of robotics and industrial automation with over 30 years of expertise. Aformic Polska was formally established in 2024 through the transfer of AIUT's AMR mobile-robots department as an independent entity. A parallel US entity, AFORMIC Inc., is based in Duncan, South Carolina.
The company's core product line is the F-series autonomous mobile robots — compact, lidar-powered AMRs designed for internal factory transport in environments with tight floor space, mixed traffic (staff, forklifts, other AGVs), and dynamic production requirements. The F-series robots use SLAM navigation with safety laser scanners, enabling real-time mapping, obstacle avoidance, and alternative path finding without fixed floor infrastructure.
Complementing the hardware is the QURSOR fleet management platform — a software system providing factory-wide task allocation, path planning, Kanban workflow optimization, traffic orchestration, and integration with existing IT/OT and multivendor AGV/AMR environments. The system supports loading/unloading coordination and complex multi-robot transfer scenarios.
Aformic targets manufacturing plants and warehouses that need flexible, space-efficient line-delivery and Kanban replenishment automation. The company has exhibited at Automate (2023) and is a member of MHI and associated with Mitsubishi Electric's FA automation ecosystem.
