Aegis Software, founded in 1997 by two manufacturing engineers and headquartered in Horsham, Pennsylvania, develops the FactoryLogix Manufacturing Execution System (MES), a unified IIoT-based platform built on a single code base and single data store. FactoryLogix covers digital manufacturing engineering, process execution, lean materials management, quality management, regulatory compliance, traceability, manufacturing intelligence, and augmented reality. The platform is deployed in over 2,200 factories globally across electronics, medical devices, automotive, aerospace, and defense industries.
Aegis has direct operations in Germany, UK, China, Japan, Singapore, and the United States. In January 2026, Aegis completed the acquisition of Simio, a digital twin simulation and advanced planning and scheduling software provider, extending FactoryLogix with AI-powered scenario modeling. In August 2025, Peak Rock Capital acquired Aegis Industrial Software Corporation.
