AceiiLab - 一思智能

AceiiLab, registered in China under the name Yisi Intelligent, is a robotics startup founded in December 2024 by CEO Liu Liqian, who spent more than a decade in robotics R&D at DJI and KUKA before starting the company, alongside co-founder Chao Guang, who brings an investment and robotics-industry background. The company's engineering, design, and sports-science team is reported to operate out of Shenzhen, China, drawing on the city's consumer-hardware and drone supply chain.

AceiiLab's flagship product is the AceiiLab A1, an AI-powered tennis ball-serving robot built around a self-developed dual-lens ("binocular") vision system that tracks the ball, court position, player movement, and shot trajectory in real time. The unit is designed with a suitcase-style portable form factor, can move within the court at speeds up to 5 meters per second, and can serve balls from multiple positions on the same side of the court to simulate varied rally patterns, an approach the company positions as an alternative to full ball-retrieval automation. A companion app provides guided coaching, custom drills, match-play modes, and training feedback, with AceiiLab describing its broader ambition as building an "intelligent training ecosystem" spanning hardware, software, data, and AI coaching rather than selling a single piece of equipment.

The company raised an angel round of more than RMB 10 million from investors including Zero One Capital, Variable Capital, and Haiyi Capital, and separately ran a Kickstarter campaign for the A1 that raised more than $820,000 from backers. As of publication, AceiiLab has begun overseas batch deliveries of the A1 and has signed contracts for a planned domestic e-commerce launch in China. The AceiiLab A1 has also received an iF Design Award. AceiiLab maintains official Facebook and YouTube channels under the AceiiLab brand, alongside its direct-to-consumer e-commerce site, and offers customer support through its online contact channels. The company reports that its team spent roughly 600 days on research and development before the A1's launch and now holds more than 60 patents covering its vision system, mobility platform, and serving mechanism, underscoring an engineering-heavy approach carried over from its founders' backgrounds in drone and industrial-robotics development.
