UC Santa Cruz Bionics Lab
UCSC research lab led by Prof. Jacob Rosen; develops exoskeletons, surgical robots, and wearable robotics for rehabilitation and teleoperation.
The Bionics Lab at UC Santa Cruz, directed by Prof. Jacob Rosen, conducts research in biorobotics, medical robotics, and wearable robotics. The lab develops upper-limb exoskeletons for stroke rehabilitation (EXO-UL8), teleoperated surgical robots (RAVEN), and the IRISS intraocular robotic interventional surgical system.
Research spans motor control, haptics, neural interfaces, brain-machine interfaces, and virtual reality for medical training.
