Trojan Battery Company is a deep-cycle battery manufacturer founded in 1925 by George Godber and Carl Speer and headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, California. The company was acquired by C&D Technologies in 2018, combining Trojan's battery manufacturing with C&D's industrial power business; Stryten Energy has since announced an agreement to acquire the combined C&D Trojan operation.
The product range spans four chemistries: flooded lead-acid batteries carrying an 18-month warranty and rated 99 percent recyclable; standard absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries with a 2-year warranty; Trojan AES AGM batteries rated for up to three times the cycle life of standard AGM with a 3-year warranty; and Trojan Lithium batteries offering fast charging and a 10-year warranty. These batteries supply motive power for material handling equipment, aerial work platforms, floor cleaning machines, golf carts and utility vehicles, marine and recreational vehicles, and solar and other renewable-energy storage installations, including battery packs used in warehouse material handling and automated guided vehicle fleets.
