In the context of automated material handling, thyssenkrupp Polysius integrates palletizing and robotic handling systems into turnkey cement plant projects, managing the flow of bagged and bulk cement products from packing to dispatch. The company provides services along the entire plant life cycle, supported by 20 service offices in 18 countries and five dedicated service centers that deliver inspections, maintenance, and OEM spare parts globally. In 2023 thyssenkrupp Polysius was integrated into the newly created Decarbon Technologies segment of thyssenkrupp AG, reflecting a strategic emphasis on low-carbon and decarbonization technologies for the cement industry alongside its traditional plant engineering and lifecycle service business.
