TDBR Inspections launched initially with a focus on the offshore oil and gas market, conducting internal inspections of confined spaces—particularly ballast tanks and cargo tanks aboard FPSOs (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading units) and other marine vessels. In July 2019, the company completed Brazil's first unmanned internal tank inspection of an FPSO for Petrobras, inspecting a ballast tank aboard the P-66 unit in the Pre-Salt Santos Basin. This milestone was achieved with a team of just two operators in approximately one hour, drastically reducing the confined-space risk compared to manual inspection.
The company has since conducted inspections on more than 250 tanks in FPSOs and other vessels. From 2019 onward, TDBR expanded services into onshore energy (power lines, wind turbines, solar fields), mining, and topographic mapping. The company uses advanced indoor drone systems (including Flyability Elios for confined spaces and ScoutDI platforms) capable of operating in GPS-denied environments.
